Teaching Portfolio — (2008–2022)

In 2008, my passion for fine art was ignited, and I embarked on a 12-year journey guiding children aged 3 to 16 in prominent art centers across Singapore.

Working on The Art Tribe

The Art Tribe, established in 2019, offers creative art lessons for children, emphasizing color and form awareness. It formed strategic partnerships, launched an e-commerce website, and received the Chen Su Lan Award in 2020 for its dedication and commitment to community service.

Responsibilities include:

• Mentored and managed a team of 8 to deliver art classes and curriculum materials with a prominent venue partner in Tanglin, Singapore. The classes achieved an 80% student retention rate when the classes were run from 2019 to 2021.
• Negotiated strategic partnerships with children-oriented merchants and spaces, including international illustrators and artists.
• Launched an e-commerce website with curated books and merchandise, eventually receiving the Chen Su Lan award in 2020 as a mark of dedication, commitment and ethos of service to the community.
